Hollywood Director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were found dead in their stunning $13.5 million Los Angeles home. However, the couple was seen enjoying and relaxing on a family vacation just weeks before their demise.

Romy, their daughter, uploaded the photos on social media just two weeks ago. Injuries of Reiner, 78, and Michele, 68, were seemed to be similar with those from a knife attack, according to those who spoke to TMZ.
Alan Hamilton, the deputy police chief of the Los Angeles Police Department, stated that there were no indications of forced entry into the home.
At this time, no arrests have been made, and no suspects have been identified. Reiner and Michele's son, Nick, is believed to be a possible person of interest.
In a post dated November 29, Romy shared photos of herself alongside her father in the water. He was seen wearing a baseball cap in those images.
In a subsequent post, Romy expressed gratitude for her family and her health.

Rob Reiner's death: Here's what police said
During a press conference held late Sunday, law enforcement officials refrained from identifying the Reiners as the individuals who had passed away. They said that they were in the process of obtaining a search warrant for the residence and that they were not pursuing anyone as a suspect or in any other capacity. Authorities confirmed that the investigation would proceed throughout the night.
According to a law enforcement source acquainted with the investigation, detectives were conducting interviews with a family member on Sunday evening concerning the fatalities, as reported by CNN.
Reiner was a distinguished producer, actor, and photographer who worked alongside Reiner on numerous notable projects.
Barack Obama expresses grief
In a statement on X, former President Barack Obama expressed that he and his wife, Michelle, are “heartbroken by the tragic passing of Rob Reiner and his beloved wife, Michele.”
“Rob’s achievements in film and television gave us some of our most cherished stories on screen. But beneath all of the stories he produced was a deep belief in the goodness of people — and a lifelong commitment to putting that belief into action,” the ex-President said.
“Together, he and his wife lived lives defined by purpose. They will be remembered for the values they championed and the countless people they inspired.”
