Yemen airport attacked amid escalating Houthi-Saudi tensions, says report
Tensions between Yemen's Houthi and Saudi Arabia have escalated in the recent weeks, with two airstrikes on Riyadh airport within three days.
Day after an alleged Houthi attack on Riyadh airport left 12 dead, Yemen's Sanaa International Airport has reportedly come under attack on Sunday.

Yemen's Houthi-run Al Masirah TV accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out the attack on the airport in the capital city, Reuters reported.
Major escalation after Riyadh airport attack
In a major escalation on Saturday, Saudi's King Khalid International Airport in the capital city of Riyadh came under attack, leaving 12 dead and 300 injured. While the Iran-backed Houthis did not claim the responsibility for the deadly strikes, Saudi accused it of targeting the facility.
The Saudi-led coalition fighting the Houthis in Yemen accused them of Saturday's attack and called it a "full-fledged war crime".
The coalition vowed to respond, and on Sunday Houthi media reported two Saudi strikes in Yemen's Houthi-controlled Sanaa governorate.

Meanwhile, Houthi said that Saudi airports are on its target list, with its military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree urging “everyone to take our warnings seriously."
The Houthi has threatened new attacks on the kingdom's airports, except for the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, warning passengers not to travel. "The airports and airspace are exposed to targeting and constitute a theatre of operations for our forces," Saree wrote on X.
