31 Chinese dead from food poisoning
At least 31 people in China died due to food poisoning and around 1,900 were affected in the last quarter of 2011, the health ministry said.

At least 31 people in China died due to food poisoning and around 1,900 were affected in the last quarter of 2011, the health ministry said.
A total of 46 food poisoning cases were reported during the period October-December, registering nearly a 44% increase from the same period in 2010, Xinhua reported.
Among the cases, nine occurred in school canteens, which caused at least 688 people to fall ill, the ministry said.
