An earthquake of 5.1 magnitude hit China early on Friday, the China Earthquake Networks Centre said.
The temblor, recorded at a depth of seven km, hit a region between Sunan county, Gansu province, and Menyuan county, Qinghai province in northwest China at 5:37am, Xinhua reported.
