An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale jolted Fiji on Thursday, Xinhua reported.
The quake occurred at 19:31:00 GMT. The epicentre was at 21.57 degrees south latitude and 179.27 degrees west longitude, the US geological survey said.
