Bomb explodes in southeast Turkey, 11 wounded

A percussion bomb exploded in southeast Turkey late on Sunday, injuring 11 people celebrating the victory of Kurdish candidates in the parliamentary election, security and hospital officials said.

A percussion bomb exploded in southeast Turkey late on Sunday, injuring 11 people celebrating the victory of Kurdish candidates in the parliamentary election, security and hospital officials said.

The explosion occurred on Sunday night in the province of Sirnak, near the Iraqi border. The casualties were being treated at a nearby hospital.
