Differences have cropped up between two Supreme Court justices over a case pertaining to Nepal President Ram Baran Yadav's move to reinstate an army chief sacked by the previous Maoist-led government.

Delivering the final verdict in the case on Tuesday, Justice Damodar Sharma opined that a full bench was needed to pronounce verdict in the case while Justice Rajendra Koirala favoured overruling the presidential order.
Due to difference of opinion between both the judges hearing the case, a full bench of SC would now deliver a final verdict in the case now.
The SC bench was hearing a case filed by a human rights body seeking quashing of the President's move to reinstate former army chief Rookmangud Katwal.
The President's move overruling the Maoist-led government's attempt to sack Katwal had led Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' to submit his resignation in May last year.
