Explosion in Italian fireworks factory kills at least five

At least five people were killed on Monday in an explosion at a fireworks factory in the town of Arpino in Italy, according to firemen on the scene cited by the Italian news agency ANSA.

Among the victims were a man and his two sons who managed the family business, located 120 kilometres (75 miles) southeast of the Italian capital Rome, in the province of Frosinone.

Rescue workers were still searching for a missing person.
