Firing reported near police training academy in Lahore

A blast occurred near a police training academy in Pakistan's Lahore city on Friday followed by an exchange of fire, media reported.

Gunshots were being heard from a distance of half a kilometre from the police training academy, Geo TV channel quoted an eye-witness as saying.

There was no further detail about the incident.
