Pakistan has agreed to the dates, September 7, 8 and 9, proposed by India for external affairs minister SM Krishna visit to Pakistan. It is expected that Krishna will be visiting both Islamabad and Lahore. Krishna will also meet top Pakistan leadership besides reviewing the progress of the resumed dialogue process with his Pakistan counterpart Hina Rabbani Khar.

India had called off the peace process after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack in 2008.

Both sides are also looking at signing the new visa agreement during the visit.
