Iran has detained seven US troops for illegally trying to enter the country from Pakistan, a media report said today.

Iran has detained seven US troops for illegally trying to enter the country from Pakistan, a media report said on Sunday.
The US soldiers and their two Iranian companions tried to enter the Islamic republic through the Koohak border crossing in Sistan-Baluchestan province, Xinhua reported citing media reports.
Iranian border guards arrested the soldiers, but their companions managed to escape.
