Onlookers were left awestuck as two young lovers chose to display their affection at the top of Sydney's historic clock tower, a media report said.
'The Daily Telegraph' report said it had received some extraordinary pictures of a couple who were apparently giving each other "special" hugs in the balcony underneath the giant clock across a road from Broadway Shopping Centre, near University of Sydney, at 3.30pm (local time) on Friday.
The couple was apparently having sex in full view of the busy street below and almost seemed to be deliberately on display, attracting the public, the newspaper report said.
The amused onlookers beneath the street were pointing and laughing at them and the pictures were taken by a bystander from a bus stop across the road, the report said.
It seemed the couple were aware that they could be seen but were "complete unfazed", the report added.
It further said it has been suggested that the two may have been students staying at the lodge below and gained access via the roof.
The identity of the couple remained unknown.
