, all have found their way on leading Pakistani TV news channels in spoofs on the post-poll scenario in the country.
The latest to hit the airwaves from Geo News, Islamabad ke Sholay, has PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan People's Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari all smiles, shaking hands as the song Yeh dosti hum nahin todenge from Sholay plays in the background.
The channel between news bulletins airs the promo, which comes after Sharif and Zardari announced last week they would cooperate to form the government, regularly.
Express News, a news channel launched just before the polls, too has joined in. The timeless Mohammed Rafi song Joh wada kiya woh nibhana padega from the film Taj Mahal plays along with footage of promises made by winning candidates during their election campaign.
In an obvious take on Kareena-Shahid starrer Jab we met, Geo News has come out with Jab we lose, - a series of mock interviews with caricatures of prominent leaders who bit the dust at the hustings.
Those interviewed in the Jab we Lose series are PML-Q president and former premier Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, former minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
And last but not the least, a vacant chair for the future PM forms the backdrop while, Kiska hai yeh tumko intizaar... ...Main hoon na from the Shahrukh Khan blockbuster Main Hoon Na plays on Geo News.
