One killed, 18 injured in bomb attack in Pakistan
One person was killed and 18 injured when a convoy of vehicles was attacked with a bomb in Pakistan's restive northwestern Kurram Agency.
A convoy of 20 vehicles travelling from Parachinar, the headquarters of Kurram Agency, to Peshawar was targeted with a bomb by unidentified assailants in the Sada area, TV channels reported.
The attackers also fired at the convoy, killing a person and injuring 18 others. The injured were taken to a hospital in Parachinar.
Kurram Agency was rocked by sectarian clashes between Shias and Sunnis in the past few months that left hundreds of people dead.
