A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader was shot dead in the southern port city of Karachi, local media reported Saturday.
Tariq Khan was shot near Tariq road in Karachi Friday evening and died after being shifted to a hospital, Dawn TV said.
The TV channel quoted police as saying that Tariq Khan was driving when a motorcyclist fired shots at his car.
The PML-N, led by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, is the second largest party in Pakistan's parliament.
