Prachanda said the intensified political parleys by Koirala have created confusion in reaching an agreement with other political parties.
During the last two days, Koirala has held a series of meeting with several political parties and held discussions on the new government formation. There has also been a campaign to promote Koirala as the new prime Minister.
Prachanda’s comments came soon after a meeting with Communist Party of Nepal (UML) general secretary Jhala Nath Khanal on Thursday.
“He (Koirala) is now trying to derail the process of formation of the consensus government,” Prachanda said. He further said constitutionally Koirala has no right to lobby to form a new government.
