Prince proposed on bent knee: Camilla

A dazed Camilla said Prince Charming knelt down to propose marriage to her.

Camilla Parker Bowles has said Prince Charles, Britain's heir to the throne, had knelt down to propose marriage to her.

Asked whether the prince had got down on one knee, Parker Bowles replied with a wide grin: "Of course. What else?"

"I'm just coming down to earth," Parker Bowles told reporters as she appeared with Charles at Windsor Castle during their first public appearance together since their engagement was announced earlier on Wednesday.
