Karin Wenger of Swiss Public Radio, Colombo to cover Tuesday’s Presidential election, was given an expulsion order after she apparently asked uncomfortable questions at a government press conference last week. Wenger was to leave the country by February 1.

The official added it was under instruction from President Mahinda Rajapaksa that Wenger’s deportation order was reversed.
