In his 50-minute meeting with US President Barack Obama on Sunday, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also talked about the global economy and said the developed countries shouldn’t resort to protectionism, sources said. The developed countries shouldn’t not stop capital inflow into developing countries as it would hamper global recovery.
Calling for a “change in the international economic architecture”, Singh pitched for a greater role for multilateral forums, including G-20 and Bric.
