Three killed in landmine blast

The blast takes place near a paramilitary checkpost at village Khapeyanga, 5 km from Sadda, the centre of Upper Kurrum agency.

At least three people were killed on Thursday when their tractor hit a landmine in Pakistan's Kurrum tribal region.

The blast took place near a paramilitary checkpost at village Khapeyanga, five km from Sadda, the centre of Upper Kurrum agency.

All the three men, going to bring wood from a nearby jungle, died on their way to hospital.

The area has been witnessing sectarian clashes in recent months.
