Three-year-old Indian girl drowns in Nepal

A holiday in Nepal turned out to be a nightmare for an Indian couple who lost their three-year-old daughter after she was drowned in a hot water jacuzzi at a luxury resort near the capital.

A holiday in Nepal turned out to be a nightmare for an Indian couple who lost their three-year-old daughter after she was drowned in a hot water jacuzzi at a luxury resort near the capital.

Bandita, daughter of Raxaul-based trader Vikash Agrawal, was drowned in a hot water jacuzzi near the swimming pool of Club Himalayan, a resort in Nagarkot hill station, police said.

The incident occurred when two families from Bihar visited the famous tourist spot Nagarkot for sight seeing.

At the time of accident, the girl was playing outside and and accidentally fell into the jacuzzi. Her parents were in the hotel room when the incident happened.

Soon after the incident she was rushed to Bhaktapur Hospital for treatment. But the girl died on the way to the hospital.
