Train, car collide in Spain, one killed

One person was killed and four were injured when a passenger train carrying 205 people hit a car in Spain, railway officials said.

One person was killed and four were injured when a passenger train carrying 205 people hit a car in Spain, railway officials said.

The accident took place in Toro, a city in west-central Spain, when the train hit the automobile at a crossing near Montelarreina station, said officials of state-owned railway company RENFE.

No one aboard the train was injured, they said.

The engine was damaged by the accident, and another was sent so the train could continue its journey.
