Ukraine on Friday confirmed its first swine flu case in a young man who returned from the United States but the health ministry said he had since recovered.

Ukraine on Friday confirmed its first swine flu case in a young man who returned from the United States but the health ministry said he had since recovered.
The tests which confirmed the presence of the A(H1N1) virus were carried out at a laboratory in London, the health ministry said.
The young man, who arrived in Kiev after working in New York, was hospitalised on May 26 with muscle pains and a headache. He has since recovered and checked out of on Friday.
