Chavez has insulted Bush calling him everything from "the devil" to a "donkey."

In a televised speech on Friday, Chavez ridiculed photos of Bush at the Olympics that have circulated on the Internet. The Venezuelan leader said Bush looked drunk and quipped to his listeners: "Gold medal for alcoholism."

Chavez said he hopes "a serious man" is elected president in the U.S., "who isn't a drunk, who respects the world, who isn't a madman."

The U.S. Embassy said it had no immediate comment on Chavez's remarks.
