Upset about the odd-even road rationing scheme ruining your eating out plan?

Some city restaurants have a solution. Just hire a cab and get up to 100% fare reimbursed at the restaurant by showing your bill!

“Stepping out to eat can be a challenge when you don’t have your car or if you’re car-pooling. The odd-even scheme affects our business, especially during the day, as the rule is on till 8pm. We are giving 100% cab reimbursement if the customer shows the bill. We don’t want people to worry about cab fares and compromise on their outings,” says Umang Tewari, owner, OMG cafe and The Junkyard Cafe, Connaught Place.

Another restaurant offering the scheme is Cafe Hawkers, “Our customers’ convenience is our main concern. On a bill worth Rs 2000 or more at our restaurant, 50% of your cab bill will be reimbursed,” says Manik Kapoor, owner of the restaurant.

Many restaurants are also helping guests book cabs. “We are giving 15% discount on food and drinks if you deposit the cab bill. We are also helping customers book cabs,” says Akshay Anand, owner, HotMess, Connaught Place.

“While taking reservations, we are also arranging for cabs for guests . And of course, there is 15% discount on the total tab if you show the cab bill ,” says Sandeep Sehrawat, owner, Groghead in Green Park.
