India and the United States on Thursday announced the schedule for their first joint global entrepreneurship summit in November via tweets by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump.
“India and US will co-host the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) at Hyderabad from 28-30 November 2017,” Modi tweeted, tagging Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump, who will lead the US delegation.

Trump later tweeted:“@IvankaTrump will lead the US delegation to India this fall, supporting women’s entrepreneurship globally.”
Ivanka retweeted all of Modi’s posts, and wrote one of her own and posted it with a picture of her with the prime minister, from Modi’s June visit. “Honored to lead the US delegation to #GES2017 in India & meet with Prime Minister Modi & passionate entrepreneurs from around the globe!”
Modi and Trump had announced the joint enterprise when they met in Washington in June. A fact sheet issued by the White House said: “The United States and India will co-host a Global Entrepreneurship Summit this year in India, focused on supporting women entrepreneurs, and geared toward solving 21st century challenges and improving lives. President Trump has asked Ivanka Trump to lead the United States delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.”
