In a novel form of protest, dancer Sudha Peetambaran, director of Sree Sankara School of Dance, used the classical art form of Kerala, ‘Mohiniyattam’ to come out against Kerala’s Kalady Sree Sankara Sanskrit University’s decision to shelve its proposal to start 7 International study centres in the name of reformists including Adi Sankara, Narayana Guru and Gandhiji. She performed the protest dance for one hour.
