Are you one of those who is in search of happiness? Do you find it difficult to find joys around you?
The series is dedicated to people who choose to be happy and appreciate life. It reflects the philosophy that true Buddha is in everything that makes one happy.
Well, then! Here’s an artwork series Finding Buddha, by Delhi-based artist Atul Todi, which aims at encouraging people to feel blessed and happy. He has depicted Buddha enjoying the daily, mundane chores. For instance, Buddha calmly driving his scooter or strumming the guitar.
“The series is dedicated to people who choose to be happy and appreciate life. It reflects the philosophy that true Buddha is in everything that makes one happy. Buddha can be a moment in the rain or in a sip of a freshly brewed coffee. Buddha is in anything that awakens our mind and allows us to be in-sync with our inner self,” says Todi.

Todi believes that in the present times, we have lost the essence of peace with the advancement of technology. He says, “The exhibition hopes to motivate people to find happiness in their daily lives, even if it is momentary. Stitching all those moments together would make life fulfilling and meaningful.”
“Buddhism is neutral and talks about inner peace that is you and yourself. It stands out among other religions,” he explains why he likes Buddhism.
