IM member Rehman handed over to Rajasthan police

An alleged member of Indian Mujahideen (IM) was handed over to Rajasthan police by a Bhopal court on Wednesday.

An alleged member of Indian Mujahideen (IM) was handed over to Rajasthan police by a local court on Wednesday.

Saif-Ur-Rehman, allegedly involved in planting bombs at Jaipur and Ahemedabad, was arrested by Madhya Pradesh ATS from Jabalpur on April 12.



He was remanded to three day judicial custody by the the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court.


The court today handed him over to Rajasthan’s Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Satyendra Singh Rana after the duration of his remand ended today.



The ATS also handed over all his belongings to the Rajasthan police.



Rehman was arrested from a Mumbai-bound train at Jabalpur station following an intelligence input and was later brought to Bhopal.
