A couple of days back, HT Café reported that Pamela Chopra (late filmmaker Yash Chopra’s wife) plans to celebrate his birthday in a unique way every year. Now, we have been told that she and her family-owned production house are planning to go all out with their special initiative this year. So come September 27, a number of Chopra’s heroines will walk the ramp for a fashion show in the studio’s premises.

“Pamelaji will be the host of the evening. The idea is to bring together Yashji’s heroines in a glamorous event. We will see Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta and Katrina Kaif walk the ramp to commemorate Yashji’s birthday,” says an insider close to the Chopras.

A few days ago, Pamela had told us, “This year, we are in the process of putting together something really big.” Apparently, she has personally looked into all the details of the event. “Pamela’s sons, Aditya and Uday Chopra, too, have worked hard for the celebrations. All the heroines readily agreed to walk the ramp since it was meant to be a tribute on Yashji’s birthday,” adds the insider.

Although Pamela remained unavailable to confirm the fashion show, the production house’s spokesperson Rafiq Gangjee confirmed the development. Yash Chopra passed away in October last year, less than a month before his last release, Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
