Aamir Khan's son takes a new direction

Aamir Khan’s 18-year-old son, Junaid, has followed his star father into Bollywood. But unlike Aamir, Junaid hasn’t taken to acting (yet). Instead, he’s taken up the role of an assistant director to Rajkumar Hirani on his upcoming film, Peekay. Aamir is also starring in the film.

Aamir Khan’s 18-year-old son, Junaid, is all grown up. And Khan Junior has followed his star father into Bollywood. But unlike Aamir, Junaid hasn’t taken to acting (yet). Instead, he’s taken up the role of an assistant director to Rajkumar Hirani on his upcoming film, Peekay. Aamir is also starring in the film.

“It was my suggestion that he learns something about cinema and gets a new experience in life before he makes his choices. It will help him in the long run. Let him discover it and tell us what he wants to do in the future. Once he has a little understanding of the craft, let him choose. It’s too early to assume that he will end up in movies. It could be acting or directing; everything is going to be his choice. He is doing his B.Com now,” Aamir had told HT in an interview late last year.

Looking good, and with a well-maintained physique, we welcome Junaid into Bollywood.
