Aiyyaa! Rani Mukerji arranges special screening for Adi, Yash Chopra

In an evident show of proximity with the Chopras, Rani has arranged a private screening of her film Aiyyaa just for Aditya and Yash Chopra. The screening will take place at Yash Raj Studios this week.

Rani Mukerji’s special connection with Yash Raj Films and her relationship with filmmaker Aditya Chopra is well-known.



Now, in an evident show of proximity with the Chopras, Rani has arranged a private screening of her film Aiyyaa just for Aditya and Yash Chopra. The screening will take place at Yash Raj Studios this week. "As Adi is a very reserved guy, she arranged for a separate screening for him and his father," says a source.



A separate screening has also been organised for Rani’s friends from the industry. "The guest list is not yet confirmed, but top actors and directors will attend the screening," the source adds.



Jointly produced by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, director Sachin Kundalkar’s film is a love story between a Marathi girl and a Tamil boy (played by south actor Prithviraj). The plot depicts a role reversal, where a man is shown as an object of desire being pursued by a woman.



When Viacom was contacted, a spokesperson confirmed the news of the private screenings at YRF, but refused to divulge any further details. The film releases on October 12.
