Akshay Kumar meets his Marathi teacher on Maharashtra Day, shares pic

Akshay Kumar met his Marathi teacher and called it a coincidence that it was Maharashtra Day when he met her.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was super excited to meet his Marathi teacher on Maharashtra Day. He labelled his Marathi “manageable” and credited the teacher for his knowledge of the language.

“Had a chance meeting with the lady responsible for my manageable Marathi...my Marathi teacher from school :) Couldn’t have met on a better day #MaharashtraDay,” Akshay captioned his picture with the teacher. May 1 is celebrated as Maharashtra Day and May Day.

Akshay, who was last seen in R Balki’s PadMan, has completed work on Reema Kagti’s Gold and is currently shooting Kesari - a film on the battle of Saragarhi. He recently injured his ribs during the shooting of an action sequence for Kesari and had to stall shooting for the day.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari also features Parineeti Chopra and will hit theatres on Holi 2019.
