Yes, Alia Bhatt can sing as well! In a candid conversation with us on Friday evening, Alia shared, "I think Imtiaz heard me humming a tune on the sets and he might have discussed this with (AR) Rahman sir."
And, the outcome of this discussion was a song for Alia. “It’s a soft song and I like soft, mellow numbers. Probably that’s why I sang the song. But, I was really nervous,” she said, adding, “We did two sessions at Rahman sir’s studio and every time I used to be like, Oh My God, I am at Rahman sir’s studio and I don’t know what I am doing. But he was very patient with me and I am really thankful to him for that,” she added.
Alia, however, also says that it is only a one-time thing, and she is not looking to pursue singing professionally, unlike actor Priyanka Chopra who has taken singing seriously. “I am a bathroom singer to be honest. I am not looking to sing professionally or anything,” she said.
