Amitabh Bachchan welcomes Kamaal R Khan to Twitter, calls him irrepressible and straight talking

Amitabh Bachchan welcomed self-proclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan back to Twitter.

The self-appointed film critic, actor and producer Kamaal R Khan seems to have returned to Twitter after his account was suspended and none other Amitabh Bachchan wrote a welcome tweet for him. “The irrepressible @Kamaalrkhan .. straight talking , without any frills is BACK .. !! Fasten Seat Belts,” Bachchan wrote. Unlike most of his Bollywood colleagues who have called out Khan for his abusive and sexist opinions in the past, the ever gracious Bachchan has shared a cordial relationship with him. Kamaal R Khan is yet to write a tweet as of now.

When Khan had predicted that the 2017 Sarkar sequel would be a hit, Bachchan had thanked him. “Thank you Kamaal…gracious of you to say so…you have become the predictive barometer of the box office..!! Hoping that this prediction comes true…!! Amitabh Bachchan,” he had written in a message that Khan had shared on social media.

Khan’s Twitter account was suspended last year. According to an Indian Express report, the handle was suspended after he revealed the climax of Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar on Twitter and also posted personal tweets against the actor.

He had also threatened suicide if his account wasn’t restored. “1st they did charge me millions of rupees and then suddenly suspended my account. So am depressed because they have cheated me. If they won’t restore my account, I will commit suicide and all these people will be responsible for my death,” he had said in a statement.
