Anurag Kashyap turns editor for Vikas Bahl's Shaandaar

Film-maker Anurag Kashyap, who is always closely involved with all his films, from writing to post-production, is also extending a helping hand to his partner now.

Film-maker Anurag Kashyap, who is always closely involved with all his films, from writing to post-production, is also extending a helping hand to his partner now.

We have come to know that Kashyap will edit Vikas Bahl’s next directorial, starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. "Vikas has almost finished the film. Only a couple of short schedules are left. Once he is done with them, Kashyap will start working on the film," says the source.

Kashyap is apparently relatively free now, as he is done with the editing of his next with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, which is due to release in May 2015. However, he has been involved with Vikas’s film from the very beginning. "He along with Vikramditya Motwane and Vikas has worked closely on the script before Vikas started shooting," says the source.

Vikas confirms the development and says, "Anurag is the editor of the film, and he will start working soon."
