Can Anushka Sharma pull off a slick, cropped hair and a pant-suit look? We think she can with aplomb. The actor, who features on the cover of Elle magazine for their August issue, can be seen rocking the androgynous style.

The ‘Bawse Lady’, as the magazine calls her in their Instagram post, dons a beige suit with a chunky waist-belt and necklace. She paired it with some really heavy duty, shiny shoes.

Her make up is minimal with deep, dark eyebrows and a hint of subtle pink on her lips. What is most striking, however, is her hair which has been patted with gel and made to look rather short than what we have seen on her before.

The fans were also impressed. One compared her to Katherine Hepburn and another thought she slayed with ‘that bossy attitude’. There were also some not-so-impressed commentors. Username aryan_purohit_ said her outfit looked like a Nazi uniform and ivy_phungula echoed the sentiment when she said the actor ‘looks like Hitler’.

Anushka’s Jab Harry Met Sejal, with Shah Rukh Khan, released this Friday to scathing reviews. The film got a disappointed reaction from the fans as well, having made on Rs 45 crore until Monday.

The actor plays a Gujarati girl on a tour of Europe in the Imtiaz Ali film, who meets a guide, played by Shah Rukh, on her journey.
