The earnings saw a slight rise on Saturday. “#SaalaKhadoos [Hindi] Fri 1.28 cr, Sat 2.09 cr. Total: Rs 3.37 cr. [Tamil] Fri 91 L, Sat 1.45 cr. Total: Rs 2.36 cr. Grand total: Rs 5.73 cr,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The Madhavan movie opened to mixed reviews but Mastizaade was widely panned by critics.

On the other hand, Airlift, starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur, continued to rule the box office for the second week running. “#Airlift is all set to cross Rs 100 cr. Remains the first choice of moviegoers. [Week 2] Fri 4.50 cr, Sat 6.50 cr. Total: Rs 94.50 cr,” says a tweet from Adarsh.
