Carla Bruni, Nouvelle Vague in Preity’s film?
Ishkq In Paris makers plan to approach famous French musicians and actors such as Carla Bruni and Nouvelle Vague for their film
It seems like Preity Zinta is going all out to make her maiden production, Ishkq In Paris, a biggie.

Since the film will be Indo-French collaboration with actors from both countries, makers plan to approach France’s First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and famous French band Nouvelle Vague for the movie’s soundtrack.
When contacted, director Prem Soni refused to confirm the names but said with a smile: “Yes, we are approaching big names for our soundtrack. Actually, the theme and story of Ishkq In Paris demands French songs. So, it’s natural that native singers are roped in. But we can’t reveal anything right now.”
Carla, for the uninitiated, is an Italian-French songwriter, singer, actor and former model. She is also married to the President of the French Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy.
Nouvelle Vague, on the other hand, is a famous French band.
“Our film will include several French actors and singers. A lot of them have already been approached. We have finalised some people but their names will be revealed at the right time,” adds Prem, who earlier directed Main Aur Mrs Khanna (2009).
Ishkq In Paris will go on the floors by the year-end and will be shot entirely in Paris in a start-to-finish three-month schedule.
“We are already working hard on pre-production work,” says Prem, adding that the lead actor’s name should ideally be announced by Preity. Prem and Preity are believed to be in talks with the French government for permission to shoot the rom-com at some popular tourist spots in the world’s romance capital including the historic Eiffel Tower.
The makers are also in talks with an agent to get the car used in Transformers 2 (2009).
