A promotional event in Mumbai late on Friday went awry when it resulted in a stampede-like situation. Cocktail actors Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty reached hours late for the press conference at a Santa Cruz venue that was too small to accommodate the huge crowds. The bouncers pushed away people to control the situation, in turn breaking mediapersons’ cameras, which only worsened the scene.

She may have been gone from the big screen for 15 years, but that didn’t stop Sridevi from getting mobbed in Delhi on Friday. The actor, who was in the city to launch a jewellery store, met with a flood of fans when she arrived at the event over two hours late. Sridevi, 48, who’s in top shape and making a comeback in English Vinglish, looked uncomfortable at the event and left within 10-15 minutes.
