Known for the melodious music in his films, Prakash Jha, received a special request from Deepika Padukone, the leading lady of his forthcoming film Aarakshan. Prior to the film, Deepika texted Jha requesting him to feature a love ballad on her, with a happy face smiley at the end.

Where most Bollywood actors are in the news for their tantrums, Padukone’s charming approach worked much better. The song, Aacha Lagta Hai, sung by Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal, featuring Padukone opposite Saif Ali Khan, is a result of Deepika’s sweet persuasion.

“I was really looking forward to shooting this song and it’s come out to be amazing. Prakash ji has a really good sense of music. I remember messaging him to please give me a good romantic song in the film... Aacha Lagta Hai is a playful and cute romantic song,” says Padukone.
