Aishwarya Rai Bachchan brought some parts of Delhi to a near standstill on Saturday, as she went around inaugurating showrooms of a ­jewellery brand in Karol Bagh, Pitampura and Defence Colony.

Fans thronged all the three locations to get a glimpse of the 40-year-old actor, who flaunted a new slimmed-down look in a black and golden floor length anarkali and soft permed hair.

There were long traffic jams around the locations and as fans tried to get close to the actor to click her pictures, police stepped in to control the crowd.
