Dhadak box office day 5: Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter’s film earns ₹43.95 crore
Dhadak box office day 5: The debut film of late actor Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor is holding its own during weekdays and earned ₹4.76 crore on Tuesday.
Bollywood’s maverick producer Karan Johar has done it again. His latest film, Dhadak, has earned the love of the audience despite mixed reviews. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Dhadak is the debut of Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s half brother Ishaan Khatter.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted the film’s business figures and it’s definitely better than the expectations. As per Adarsh, the film starring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, has earned ₹43.95 crore in first five days and is now expected to end the first week at a collection over ₹50 crore..
Dhadak is the Hindi remake of Marathi hit Sairat. The film opened to mixed reviews and gathered momentum over the weekend.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju is still raking good moolah at the ticket window. As per Adarsh, Sanju, which is a biopic on controversial Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, had earned ₹333.55 crore in its fourth week. Sanju had hit the screens on June 29. It’s already in the list of all time highest grossing Bollywood films.
Sanju is currently holding on to the number five position in the list of blockbusters after Baahubali 2, Dangal, PK and Tiger Zinda Hai. At this rate, Sanju can easily become the number three by beating PK (340 cr).
Hollywood film Incredibles 2 has once again proved the change in taste of the Indian audiences. The film has registered incredible figures of ₹40.25 crore in India alone.
