Sushant Singh RajputHe has always sported a chocolate boy image so far, but the 28-year-old will be seen playing a 1940s detective in Dibakar Banerjee’s upcoming sleuth drama based on the fictional character of Byomkesh Bakshi.
Anil Kapoor, John Abraham and Vivek Oberoi
While filmmaker Sanjay Gupta reinforces the fact that his upcoming gangster film will be contemporary, the looks of his lead actors will have influences of gangsters of the 80s-90s. The film shows Bombay’s transformation to Mumbai. Anil’s character will reflect the political scenario, John’s role represents the underworld presence of the era and Vivek Oberoi plays an encounter specialist.
Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker’ next that stars Hrithik Roshan, 40, in the lead role, is based in the era of the Indus Valley civilization. The film also stars newbie Pooja Hedge, 24, and is touted to be an epic love story.

Set in 1960s, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film Bombay Velvet will see Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in a rather different look. While 32-year-old Ranbir plays a street fighter in the film, 26-year-old Anushka will be seen as a jazz singer.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film will see Ranveer Singh, 29, play the role of the Maratha Peshwa, Baji Rao while Deepika Padukone, 28, plays his second wife, Mastani. Priyanka Chopra, 32, will be seen as Kashibai, the first wife of Baji Rao.
