Fugly to be premiered at the world's highest theatre
The premiere of Akshay Kumar’s next production Fugly, featuring boxer-turned-actor Vijender Singh, will be held at the world’s highest theatre in Leh. Set in the bylanes of Delhi, Fugly aims to be a fast-paced entertainer.
With its breath-taking landscapes, Ladakh is one of the most beautiful shooting locations in India.
Since the region has a large number of army personnel stationed there, most film crews that come to shoot there also end up becoming friends with the jawans.
, featuring boxer-turned-actor Vijender Singh, has been shot across 200 locations in Ladakh.
So when the jawans, who had helped the crew in many ways during the shoot, requested the makers for a special screening of the film there, they agreed to organise not just any show, but the very first one.
says, "I come from an army background, so when I got the letter from the army requesting a screening, tears welled up in my eyes. I called them and told them that I will host the premiere of the film there."
The venue for the show will a unique one. "The event will be held at a cinema hall, which happens to be the world’s highest theatre. I will attend it with my producer Ashwini Yardi," says Sadanand.
