Neerja star Sonam Kapoor’s name came up for the part after she did a music video Dheere Dheere opposite Hrithik but she later confirmed that she wasn’t going to be a part of the project.

Hrithik and Sonam were seen together in Dheere Dheere music video by Honey Singh.

The news of T-series wanting Kangana as the leading actor for the film caused a controversy in B-town, where it was said that Hrithik was not comfortable shooting with Kangana due to rumors of their alleged ‘secret’ love affair thus she was not made a part of the film.

Kangana and Hrithik worked together on Krishh 3.

After much controversy and speculations, it is being reported that the 22-year-old Alia Bhatt has been roped-in for Aashiqui 3.

Alia and Hrithik would make a fresh pair which would be interesting for the audience to watch on the silver screen.
