Here’s how R Madhavan made his dad’s 75th birthday special

Last week, R Madhavan travelled to Chennai to celebrate his father’s 75th birthday.

On August 14, R Madhavan flew to Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to celebrate his father Ranganathan’s 75th birthday. “Madhavan’s father turned 75 on August 15. The actor wanted to spend time with him on this special day. He plans to stay in Chennai for a few more days,” says a source.

To celebrate his birthday, Madhavan took his father and the rest of their family out sightseeing. “He took them to a few temples located near Chennai’s Adyar River. Madhavan’s family was later joined by other relatives. They all had an extravagant vegetarian lunch,” adds the source.

When contacted, the actor confirmed the news, and said, “It was great to meet everyone. I always believe that the elders in my family are the reason for my success. So, getting their blessings was one of the best ways to celebrate my dad’s birthday. He has been an inspiration for me, and I like the way he is so comfortable with who he is.I hope I get blessed with the same satisfaction when I’m his age.”
