Here’s why Kareena Kapoor wasn’t seen for Udta Punjab promotions

Earlier, it was reported that Kareena has kept herself away from the film promotions because of her former boyfriend Shahid Kapoor. But that’s not the reason.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will next be seen in Shashanka Ghosh’s directorial Veere Di Wedding, has recently opened up about her absence from Udta Punjab promotions.

Earlier, it was reported that Kareena has kept herself away from the film promotions because of her former boyfriend Shahid Kapoor.

But now, in an interview, the 35-year-old star quashed the claims, citing health issues and London trip as the reasons, reports Bollywood.Life.com.

The Ki & Ka actor explained that she missed the first promotion because of her London trip and the second time she was unwell, of which the producers were aware.

Adding on to this, she asked the fans and people not to misinterpret her support for the film just because she is not on the social media.

Udta Punjab, which was released yesterday, has received thumbs up from the members of the film fraternity like Preity Zinta, Mahesh Bhatt, Arshad Warsi and Dia Mirza.
