Kapil Sharma, Salman Khan’s family’s cars challaned multiple times, fines go unpaid: Report

While Kapil Sharma and Arjun Kapoor’s cars were in their own name, the vehicle was registered in Salman’s brother Arbaz Khan’s company’s name.

Vehicles belonging to Kapil Sharma, Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor feature on the list of offenders who have not paid the traffic fines despite being issued e-challans, according to a Mumbai Mirror report. While comedian Kapil Sharma’s car is in his own name, the vehicle is registered in the name of Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan’s film production company (Arbaaz Khan Production Pvt Ltd).

Vehicles in Kapil Sharma and Salman Khan’s names have pending challns against them.

The vehicle has been fined Rs 4000 for four traffic violations this year, which has not been paid. However, Salman’s family told the daily that they did not get any information or intimation from the police in this regard. They said the fines would have been paid immediately otherwise.

A challan of Rs 2000 has been pending in Kapil Sharma’s name and is yet to be paid. Kapil has been outside the country for some time now.

Actor Arjun Kapoor who also featured on the list and had a fine of Rs 2000 pending paid after the details of the list were revealed. The vehicle was challaned for three cases of speeding.

The list revealed that the people were e-challaned for violations such as speeding, jumping the signal and not stopping at zebra crossing. Other than the celebs, many politicians and public functionaries were on that list too.
