Kapoor cousins Sonam, Arjun, Jhanvi share photos from cousin’s destination wedding
Cousins Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Jhanvi Kapoor and the whole Kapoor khandaan are having a blast at their cousin Akshay Marwah’s wedding in Abu Dhabi. They shared some happy pictures from the big, fat, Indian wedding.
Actors Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and their famous siblings and cousins - Jhanvi, Rhea and Khushi - are in Abu Dhabi to attend an extravagant family wedding. The Kapoor Khandaan is clearly having a great time catching up at cousin Akshay Marwah’s destination wedding.
Arjun took to Instagram on Sunday to post a photo of Sonam and him, captioning it, “The June siblings !!! @sonamkapoor and me at the #akmash mehendi let the madness begin !!!”
The happy photo shows the hunky 31-year-old actor and award-winning Neerja actor donning their ethnic best: While the Gunday actor rocked in a black silk kurta-pyjama, Sonam is seen in a stylish, colourful attire.
Glowing in an embroidered halter-neck dress with a flowing cape giving an illusion of a fusion sari by Anamika Khanna, Sonam’s look was too much desi swag.
She also shared a few photos on her Instagram. She captioned one picture as, “My best friends in the whole world! #broseffs #akmash@samyuktanair @shehlaakhan@karishma @rheakapoor.”
Sister Rhea Kapoor pulled off a pink and black number with a stunning maang-tika at one of the ceremonies.
Another cousin, Sridevi’s elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor, too grabbed eyeballs with her beautiful off-shoulder Manish Malhotra ensemble.
On the work front, Sonam will be seen next in Veere Di Wedding. Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, the chick flick also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. Arjun will be next seen in Half Girlfriend alongside Shraddha Kapoor. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film will hit the silver screen on May 19.
